Tanzania Students Safari 11-Day

Start with a visit to Arusha National Park for a day of hiking and wildlife spotting. This park offers a diverse range of habitats and is an excellent location for students to learn about ecological systems and conservation challenges. In the evening, participate in a workshop on Tanzanian wildlife.

Travel to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and diverse bird species. Spend two days on guided game drives and nature walks, learning about animal behavior and habitat conservation. Engage in evening discussions and presentations on the importance of biodiversity.

Head to Lake Manyara National Park for a study on aquatic ecosystems and birdlife. Explore the park’s renowned forest and lake areas, focusing on ecological diversity and environmental challenges. Participate in community service projects with local conservation groups.

Journey to the Serengeti National Park for an immersive wildlife experience. Over three days, track the migration patterns of wildebeest and zebra and observe predator-prey interactions. Students will conduct field observations and collect data for group projects. Nights include campfire discussions on conservation strategies and sustainable practices.

Visit the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique natural phenomenon that’s home to a high concentration of wildlife within its walls. Spend a full day on a crater tour, observing different species and understanding the balance of this enclosed ecosystem. Evening sessions will focus on recap and feedback on the learning outcomes.

Return to Arusha for final group activities, including presentations on student projects and a discussion on how the experiences during the safari can be applied to future studies and personal growth.
