Arrive in Arusha, where you’ll be welcomed by your tour leaders and transferred to your accommodation. Settle in and later attend a welcome dinner where you’ll receive a comprehensive orientation about the upcoming activities and educational objectives of the trip.
Start with a visit to Arusha National Park for a day of hiking and wildlife spotting. This park offers a diverse range of habitats and is an excellent location for students to learn about ecological systems and conservation challenges. In the evening, participate in a workshop on Tanzanian wildlife.
Travel to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and diverse bird species. Spend two days on guided game drives and nature walks, learning about animal behavior and habitat conservation. Engage in evening discussions and presentations on the importance of biodiversity.
Head to Lake Manyara National Park for a study on aquatic ecosystems and birdlife. Explore the park’s renowned forest and lake areas, focusing on ecological diversity and environmental challenges. Participate in community service projects with local conservation groups.
Journey to the Serengeti National Park for an immersive wildlife experience. Over three days, track the migration patterns of wildebeest and zebra and observe predator-prey interactions. Visit the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique natural phenomenon that’s home to a high concentration of wildlife within its walls.
